Seller Agreement
1) This puppy is a purebred Labrador Retriever.
2) The pedigree included is correct.
3) The puppy is registerable with the AKC and the UKC.
4) The Seller will provide the necessary documentation for registration of this puppy.
5) The registration is limited. Puppies sold on limited registration may not be shown in AKC conformation shows or bred. Upon receipt of passing OFA hip and elbow scores at two years of age or later from the Buyer, the Seller will change registration from limited to full at the Seller’s expense.
6) The Seller agrees to refund the puppy’s purchase price, minus the non-refundable deposit, if the puppy is returned within 72 hours for any reason and no injury has occurred.
7) The puppy’s sire and dam are both OFA certified as free of hip and elbow dysplasia. The puppy is expected to be free of crippling congenital hip and elbow dysplasia. If properly positioned OFA hip/elbow radiographs are rated by OFA as dyplastic up to 26 months of age, a) the puppy may be returned to the Seller for refund of full purchasing price, including deposit, or b) the Buyer can receive a puppy of comparable quality from the next available breeding at no additional cost without return of the dyplastic dog, with proof of spay/neuter. No monetary refund will be issued without the return of the puppy.
9) In the event the puppy can no longer be cared for, the Seller agrees to accept the return of the puppy at any age or condition (without refund).
10) The seller in no way guarantees that this puppy shall win in conformation and/or performance events.
11) The Seller agrees to provide educational support throughout the puppy’s life.
No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except as stated above.

- 7a) The hip/elbow guarantee will be void if: 1) Known injury has occurred that resulted in a non-passing score, 2) The puppy is or was obese when living with the Buyer, a known risk-factor for environmental hip dysplasia, or 3) The puppy is or was not fed an AAFCO approved, nutritionally balanced diet with the Buyer, a known risk-factor for environmental hip dysplasia

No other warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, are made under this contract except as stated above.
Buyer Agreement
The Buyer agrees that if at any time, and for any reason, he/she is unable to keep or properly care for the puppy, it shall be returned to the seller and no one else. The Buyer’s understanding and acceptance of this condition is signified here by his/her initials: ___________ on _____________.
1) The Buyer agrees to maintain the puppy’s health with yearly vaccinations and testing as specified by the Buyer’s veterinarian.
2) Should the puppy become ill or unsound, any and all costs of treatment will be the responsibility of the Buyer.
3) The Buyer agrees to keep the puppy at an appropriate lean body condition score throughout its life to maximize the puppy’s soundness and longevity.
4) The Buyer agrees to properly socialize and train their puppy throughout its life.
5) The Buyer agrees that the puppy shall be housed indoors and fed either an AAFCO-approved commercial diet or one formulated under the guidance of a veterinary nutritionist.
6) The Buyer acknowledges that special care, conditioning, training, and feeding are necessary to produce a competitive Labrador Retriever in performance events and that this care and training is the Buyer’s responsibility.
7) The Buyer agrees that all breedings once the puppy is of age must be done by contract, and any dog/bitch bred to this Labrador Retriever must have OFA hip certification of good or better, normal OFA elbow certification, and genetic testing appropriate for the breed, at minimum.
8) The Buyer agrees not to breed this Labrador Retriever to any dog or bitch that carries the dilute gene for ‘silver’ or to any breed other than a Labrador Retriever.
9) The Buyer agrees to read all information contained within the Puppy Information Packet.
10) It is strongly suggested that the puppy be seen by a veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase.
