​I started VK Labradors in 2021 with the goal of ethically breeding healthy, sound Labrador Retrievers that can tackle any sport they're pointed at! We strive for low COI (coefficient of inbreeding) in a breed that is seeing less and less diversity at the top levels. We health test our breeding dogs to ensure our puppies have their best chance at a long, healthy life. We title our dogs to prove trainability, as well as showcasing their natural talents. Transparency is very important to me as a breeder - we always make our OFA results public, and we are always happy to truthfully answer any questions about our dogs and our program. 

As ethical breeders, we strive to never contribute to shelter populations. We have only occasional litters, the puppies are microchipped through AKC Reunite with our information permanently registered as a secondary contact, and all puppies are sold with a required return clause should a family ever be unable to care for their dog, regardless of the dog's age, condition, or training.

A breeder cannot pay to gain membership with Good Dog, and the recognition is only given after thorough screening and interviews. We are thrilled to be considered a member of this organization, which supports everything we stand for! While payments through Good Dog are not required, they also offer payment protection for buyers who pay through their platform
